The People Pool

The People Pool works with employers in Liverpool to provide a first class recruitment and staff development service.

We provide employers with an impartial, individually tailored, recruitment and training package to meet their needs.

Together with a range of partner agencies across Merseyside, we enable local people to benefit from job opportunities which arise as a result of the regeneration of Liverpool.

WE DO THIS BY:

 Providing a dedicated resource for employers and inward investors in Liverpool, through a team of experienced staff who provide advice and practical support on all aspects of recruitment and training.

 Providing specialist expertise in the areas of construction, contact centres, finance, health, leisure & tourism, public sector and retail.

 Linking employers to a motivated and trained local workforce, via our connections with the Jobs, Education and Training (JET) facilities based across Liverpool.

 Supporting employers to access mainstream programmes, funding, and initiatives delivered by partner organisations such as Jobcentre Plus and the local Learning and Skills Council.

 Using our Employment Development Fund to bridge gaps in mainstream provision and test innovative approaches to meeting recruitment or training needs.

 Collating information via our Labour Market Intelligence (LMI) Unit to analyse trends in the City Centre labour market and ensure that local people are equipped with the skills that employers require now and in the future.
